Tongue Latch & Angle Stops

With the top deck mounted on the sub chassis and with the drawbar fitted, the angle stops can be fitted to the top deck. Rotate the top deck 8 degrees in both directions and clamp and weld the stops in position.

Note - when welding on the trailer, keep the earth clamp attached as close to the weld area as possible. Do not let the earth track through the permaglide bearing.

Source a good quality spring latch and fit to the drawbar. Be sure to allow clearance between the tilt shroud and the spring latch pin and body when tilting.

If required, weld a packer plate onto the tilt shroud to remove any gap between the shroud and the latch pin.
